You know it’s finally fall when pumpkins start appearing at weddings!  Sarah and Justin’s fall themed wedding had pumpkin centerpieces, carved pumpkins, large pumpkins and small.  I had been to the Eagles Nest exactly one year earlier, but what a difference!  Last year, the trees were still solid green, this year was an abundance of fall color.  After the mass at St. Peter’s church in Sarah’s home town of Monticello, everyone made a beeline for the Eagles Nest to enjoy a crisp fall afternoon with the gorgeous views of the valley below.

Megan and Joe had envisioned a outdoors ski lodge feel to their wedding without having to send their guests up a ski lift in formal wear; so when they found the Eagles Nest in Bloomingburg, they knew that they had a ceremony and reception site.  A perfect October day and the brightest blue skies I had ever seen at the Eagles Nest.  Having Rebel, their dog, was an important part of Megan and Joe’s day and he was full of sloppy wet kisses for their photos!

Anne and David

David had to be one of the calmest groom’s ever. When I arrived at the church he was busy greeting everyone and spent quite a bit of time sitting and talking with his little niece, the flower girl. A beautiful ceremony at The Church of the Assumption in Maybrook was followed by a really fun photo session with a wonderful bridal party at the Eagles Nest in Bloomingburg. Anne and David have a fantastic bunch of family and friends!
