Liz and Andy + Arizona Temple of Music and Art Wedding + Tucson Wedding Photography

I walked out of Liz and Andy’s wedding ceremony at St Augustine’s Cathedral firmly believing that every wedding should have a Mariachi band.  Somewhere, somehow.  The ceremony music by El Mariachi Tapatio was amazing.  I do see a lot of mariachi at weddings  in Tucson, but El Mariachi Tapatio’s performance at St Augustine’s was outstanding.  Tourists wandering by came in off the streets outside to hear them play. Liz and Andy truly embraced downtown Tucson with their unique and elegant wedding.  Liz got ready at the historic Royal Elizabeth Bed and Breakfast on Scott Avenue, a hidden Victorian gem of elegance and grandeur.  She wore her grandmother’s antique lace veil for a traditional full mass at St Augustine’s Cathedral, after which the couple and all their guests strolled the one block over to Scott Avenue and a luncheon reception at The Temple of Music and Art.  The mariachi continued to play throughout the cocktail hour in the courtyard, after which  all the guests moved upstairs to dine in the art gallery.  This is such a pretty venue with it’s historic buildings and every changing art exhibits.  I left this gorgeous wedding with new friends made and a warm appreciation for all that Scott Avenue offers in downtown Tucson.
