My Story

For more than fourteen years, Lori has been photographing weddings. By mixing timeless tradition and her vivid imagination, she has created an original style of romantic elegance and contemporary edginess that is reflected in every couples album. For Lori, no two weddings are ever alike, so she tackles each event with a fresh approach. Her passion for her work is evident, from the couple's initial meeting with her to the end result - hundreds of stunning photos that the couple will cherish for a lifetime.

Lori is a long time New York wedding photographer who now also has a home in Tucson, Arizona. She is accepting bookings for both the New York and Tucson, Arizona areas.

More about Lori:  "I like to say that my style is REAL; I'm after the real you, your real love and those candid moments most people don't notice....the ones that make your wedding totally you.
You'll never find me yelling orders at you or your guests. In fact, the only time you'll probably notice me at all is during your portraits, and even then I'm tiny and dressed in black, so you might still miss me!  My couples say being around me has a 'calming effect,' like a tranquilizer only without the side effects. My approach to photography is creative and fun, balanced with just the right amount of gentle direction.

As soon as you hold one of my albums in your hands and see the love and emotion captured in every photograph, you'll know if I'm the right photographer for you.

How will you know? Take a look at the work on my website and blog. If it makes you stop, if it stands out from everything else you've seen, if it's what you've been looking for....then we've gotta talk!"

Classical and Stylish Welcoming and warm Lori OToole Photography will embrace your wedding story.

If you STILL want to know more:

Chocolate, art, tattoos, music, sneakers and Jimmy Choo.

I've been photographing weddings for 14 years now and am somewhere around the 350 weddings mark.

I have an ongoing love affair with my 2 beastly dogs, Huckleberry and Betty.  They are huge and have no manners (my fault completely).  But I am crazy about them and do silly things like fly home directly after shooting a wedding because I miss them.

My daughter is jealous of the dogs.  And complains that I treat them much better than her.  Which is untrue.  Probably.

My son has really good taste in girlfriends.

I don't like being photographed.

I crave Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo's, but live my real life in flip flops and chucks.

I love to garden and can get lost for hours at Tohono Chul Park or Tucson Botanical Gardens.  Or even Home Depot.

Pepsi is my caffeine and I love wedding cake.

I still cry at weddings.
